What an uncheckable number costs
Deals rarely die on price. They stall on a figure nobody in the room can verify.
It happens twice. First in the internal review, where someone asks where a number came from and the owner of the deal has no answer. Then in procurement, where the file lands in the pending pile and stays there.
Shut material causes both stalls. So the checking route sits outside the contract, and every part of it is open today.

The claim ledger
Every figure CiteAngle publishes is filed with its source type and measurement date. If a sentence on this site looks off, look the line up. Open the claim ledger

Top to bottom is the order we suggest, but any one of the four stands on its own. Back issues sit in the report library, and the docs page opens the machine readable rails.
If a line here does not add up, name it. Point at the sentence and we will show the source or correct the page.
Contact usThe measuring method is open too
A number is checkable only when you know what it is a number out of.
The query design, the surfaces we read, and the bar a round must clear are all written down, in plain pages you can read before you buy.
We publish our own readings on the same terms, including the cells we failed to measure. A blank cell that says so is part of the evidence.

We read a brand nine ways. Five of them carry most of the work, and those are here.
A-01
Competitive read
We count how often your brand and each rival get named on the same question, then hand you the screens you are losing and the order to take them back.
A-02
Citations and reach
Every address an AI cites gets collected, so you can see which sources hold up over time and where your own writing needs to live.
A-03
Search demand
What buyers actually type gets held against the words you use, and the gap comes back as a ranked list of terms you are missing.
A-04
Ad performance
Spend and conversions get reconciled in one ledger, so you know which channel to feed and which creative to stop.
A-05
Funnel
We count the drop at each step from arrival to checkout and name the one stair that leaks most, with the fixes that close it.
Running legal or security review instead?
That is a different axis. Which terms govern the work, what we hold and for how long, and where to report a vulnerability all sit on the trust center, next to the source documents themselves. This page carries the number checks and nothing else.
Two axes of review
What changes once you have checked
The question about where a figure came from ends in the room.
Whoever carries the deal can answer it right there, because every figure carries its address. The review closes with a decision instead of a follow-up. And the next round can be held against the same standard, so checking is something you do once and then keep.
We keep this open for a selfish reason. Selling only checkable numbers is what stops us from writing numbers loosely.
