What a missing document costs. Without published terms and retention periods, a security review stalls and a purchase everyone agreed on is lost to three weeks of email. CiteAngle publishes all of it at fixed addresses, sealed to the same discipline as our measured figures, which is why your reviewer can finish here, on the same day they start.
A second cost is harder to see and lasts longer. Without published retention periods, your reviewer has to assume the worst case and scope the risk from it, so a purchase gets approved with restrictions that make the work less useful — or does not get approved at all.
Why all of this is open before you ask
A security review stalls on missing paperwork far more often than on a real objection. The questionnaire goes out, the vendor answers by email, the answer contradicts the contract, and a purchase that everyone had already agreed on loses three weeks. Publishing the terms, the privacy notice and the retention periods at fixed addresses removes that loop: your reviewer reads the governing document itself, and the answer they get is the one that will still be true at renewal.
There is a second reason, and it is the one we would rather be judged on. We sell numbers. A company selling numbers has to be checkable itself. So the measurement protocol is published. Every public figure is traceable through the claims registry with its source and date. Each rate we deliver carries the sealed conditions it was measured under. Reviewers get the same evidence a customer gets. Nothing here is held back for the call.
The three documents that govern the work
Three documents set the relationship. All three are readable in full without an account, and every revision carries its effective date and version number at the top.

Which company receives what, and where
Every processor is named. The table says what is sent, why, which country processes it, how long that processor keeps it, and what changes if you decline.

The points at which an order can still be cancelled, and the refund basis at each step.
What we hold, and for how long
Retention follows the kind of record. The figures below are the ones written into the privacy policy.

Closing an account runs from account settings, and it takes effect on the spot. Where a law requires a record to remain, the screen names that record and the period it is kept for.

How measurement data is used
What a diagnosis collects is used to build and verify the report for that engagement. It stays inside the scope and the retention window the contract sets, and a client's own asset data is used for that client's work.
Aggregates published on this site are shaped so that no single client can be identified. Every figure that appears in public copy is registered with its source type and reference date in the public claims registry.
How you check a number yourself
Figures ship with the conditions that produced them, fixed at the moment of measurement. We call that fixing a seal: the query set, the surfaces read, the repetition count and the judging rules are hashed when the run happens, so a later edit to the numbers shows up.
